I really like them, especially the third one. They look like something out of Juxtapoz magazine, a contemporary art magazine I really like.

Keep in mind I’m young, and it’s been awhile since I’ve updated. Perhaps I should start again. I dunno.
Funny cartoon self-portrait from summer of 2005. Inspired by a (quite true) revelation I had. I still have the argyle vest in that portrait.
Pizza Chef - NOT safe for work. I drew this for a planned campaign of slander against a local pizza joint (whose breadsticks we thought tasted like piss) cooked up by my friends and I on one smoky summer night. The activism never got off the ground.
The Garbagemen. Still haven’t finished this one and it’s been almost three years.
Drew this in class a year ago or so. What exactly is being depicted can be up to your imagination.
My most recent work - Portrait of Sir James Scudamore (who was a real person and supposedly the basis for a character in The Faerie Queene.) I drew that in June after seeing his suit of armor up close at the Metropolian Museum of Art in New York; it was done with pen and Crayola colored pencils - I also tweaked it a little with Photoshop.
I like this one a lot. Have you read ‘My Name is Red’ by Orhan Pamuk (English version translated by Erdag Goknar). I think you might like it.
Oh, wow! I love these!
I’ve always wanted to have a bronze sculpted mailbox, shaped like a cave and guarded by an armoured troll. It’s not ever going to happen, but you’d be the perfect choice of artist to do my idea justice.
Unfortunately I don’t really do regular kinds of art anymore. Most of my stuff is in amateur visual effects.
Wow. Lot’s of cool stuff here. I especially like Malleus’ alebaster snake thingy. ISn’t alebast very expensive?
Myself, I’m not much of a painter, but I can churn out a decent photograph. Please feel free to leave a comment on one of my DeviantArt pieces, or visit my website for easier browsing.
So beautiful.
Here are a bunch of my charcoal sketches, in roughly chronological order. I mention the order because you can see I’m working on a new technique, wherein I try to draw as little of the subject as possible and still get the idea across.
Damn, I need to start sketching weekly again.
Wow… some really gorgeous stuff here! I am especially attracted to your cutout tree vase, it’s just beautiful!
I don’t know the relative prices of stones, but it’s a few dollars per pound (depending on the color and quality). Since I’ve only ever bought two stones total (I’m working on a stretching cat right now), it’s not a big deal. I guess it adds up if you sculpt for a hobby, though.
Well, I’m pretty darned impressed! Very cool!
WOW! Really, really lovely stuff. I’ve wanted to move away from 2D to 3D work for-fricken-ever, but I have a following doing what I’m currently doing (plus a zillion other reasons not to).
Granted, I’ve never actually seen your colored pencil work, but you seem to have made the 2D/3D transition beautifully.
I don’t have a website for my colored pencil works yet, but I posted a few of them here:Colored Pencil
Thank you! That’s also one of my favorites. I plan to do more trees of different shapes.
You would be the perfect companion to hang out and feed me cool ideas! Love your troll mailbox idea. I hope you someday get a chance to make it.
I don’t paint pictures. I don’t sculpt. But I paint what other folks have sculpted.
::Picks up eyes that just popped out of her head and puts them back in::
4everkid, those – and your ceramic work – are amazing!
Hypno-Toad, I remember your stuff from the other times we’ve done threads like this. Everybody always tells me, “I don’t see how you can work with those teeny-tiny beads!” But I can’t imagine wielding such a teeny-tiny brush! Your figurines are really cool.
It’s more technique and practice than skill. Your stuff is way more creative since you’re starting from scratch.
I love them!
Are we counting photography?
If so my portfolio gallery is here.
Don’t have pics of any of my sketches/watercolors.
Hurah! After much wailing and gnashing of teeth, I finally got my new and improved (I hope) gallery up. (unfortunately this means the link in my first post will no longer work–sorry)
What do you think?
It includes my new series, dogs in chairs.
Shy_kat, amazing photographs, and very professional-looking website.
I also love Cactus Waltz’s whale jumps over tooth. Great stuff!
I haven’t updated in years, so there are a lot more pieces to put up, but until then, here’s my deviantart gallery
