Moreover, those who suggested that there was uncertainty were accused of having a right wing bias or that they had a perverse desire for a horse race. In short, their integrity was questioned merely for pointing out the obvious, which was that this was a race with a lot of uncertainty, and that the qualitative narratives of the campaign itself were capable of influencing the final quantitative results.
