Pretty recently, as comics go. I don’t know exactly. I generally only pick up my batch of comics every few months (so I can read more than 15 minutes worth of story at a time), so for all I know, he’s either back, or they’re hinting at a comeback. He’s actually not really dead, you see, he’s merged with Apocalypse. (Apocalops? Cyclopalypse?)
Also, I was actually referring to the movie Wolvie as well. I honestly never thought of Ash in that way; I guess he’d be more of a bud to hang out with than a lover.
And, yeah, Hugh Jackman would make a good Jesse Custer!
