It doesn’t officially start until this weekend, but apparently Starz has already put the first episode up online.
Yes! YES! YESSSSSSSS!!!
I mean, I’ve been mildly interested in the new season. Thanks.
Looking forward to it. Sad that Jill Marie Jones was killed off – they should have made her part of the gang.
WHOOOOOOHOOOOO!!!
Been looking forward to this.
Yeah, really wanted the lady cop to join the party, but they can make up for it by giving me more naked Lucy Lawless.
That’s not necessarily a permanent condition on a show like this.
The bit at the house:
“Better. Stronger.”
“Faster?”
“Yeah.”
“Bullshit.”
…cracked me up.
It amazes me how much they’re able to fit into a single, ostensibly half hour, episode of this show. Other shows should take note.
and they seem to have seriously upped the production quality - those were some damn creepy ‘shadow demons’.
I’ve definitely noticed the practical effects have gotten better.
The “shadow demons”, by the way, are the Children. You’ll recall that Ruby forced Pablo to vomit them into existence after she bound the Necronomicon to his face in the season 1 finale. A little surprising that she lost control over them when she’s powerful enough to control the Kandarian and send it all the way to Jacksonville to get Ash’s attention, but then again, Rule #1 of Evil Dead is “Do not overthink Evil Dead”.
And Starz just renewed it for a third season.
That’s a pretty confident move, particularly after giving away the first episode of the season for free online and making the announcement before the second episode even aired.
Season 2: Episode 3; Last Call
The summary of my reaction:
WOW. :eek::eek::eek:
Just…Holy shit. Wow… :eek::eek::eek:
Yeah… One of the grossest and funniest things I’ve ever seen.
My best friend from high school lives in New Zealand.
His son is an actor, and played the kid with the beige jacket, the one who was in the driver’s seat of the car at the beginning of the episode.
It’ll be okay…
They can rebuild him.
Oops, I realize I’m a week behind, and my comment was about “Morgue”. I haven’t seen the latest episode.
Ah, that makes more sense. Ep. 2 was considerably more gruesome (and funny, i think) than Ep. 3.
Yay for Ted Raimi!
I think it’s actually ‘shoot first, think never’.
Evil Dead does more in 30 minutes than most shows do in 4 hours.
If I’m not mistaken, the guy playing “Ball” is another Hercules/Xena alum. Ares’s sidekick, Strife.
Only seen two episodes, but the morgue scene with Ash was beyond outrageous.
As a Michigan guy, nice to see Faygo used in a way that did not involve Insane Clown Posse.
What a wild show.
