Actually, I was confused about this too. The post they specifically responded to was not, itself, offensive in any way discernible to me. It struck me as an extremely hostile non-sequitur.
It was also a little odd to me that The Tooth came into billfish678’s thread which exists specifically for billfish678 to respond to things, to specifically tell billfish678 not to respond to him. But that might just me being easily confused.
