Heck, I’d supply the beverage of their choice and we could talk for hours. You aren’t answering. What are you getting from this? How is this field research?

This is a mental two-step. You say “Trump is honest”. Then, when called on it, and when it is pointed out that he has lied more than any politician in political memory, you retreat to, “Okay, he lies, but he knows he’s lying and so does everyone else.” (This is not true; if you understand when Trump is lying and about what, that puts you ahead of I’d say more than half of the republican base.) And then a few days later, you go back to “Trump is mostly honest”, because that’s what it feels like. Second question: have you heard of epistemic integrity? If you know someone is dishonest, especially if they’re particularly dishonest, don’t call them honest just because you like how they talk. Say that you like how they talk.
Why would you even say that Trump is honest, when in fact he has lied more than any politician in recent memory, about easily verified things, to the point where many news organizations have questioned whether he can even tell the difference between the truth and a lie?

Question five: has any politician in the USA proposed a practical solution for health care? Has any country anywhere in the world implemented a practical solution for health care? Which party is proposing solutions closer to those solutions?
