I haven’t read the latest posts here, as I don’t have a lot of time, but all around jerkball James Dobson was opposed to the appointment of Scott Everest on the AIDS task force becasue he is (gasp) gay!
Not only that, he actually says that male homoexuals are rampantly promiscuous!
Can someone send this guy some statistics or clue him in to reality?
Dobson is immune to reality. He’s been spouting Anti-Gay Rhetoric for YEARS. He used to be subtle in the 80’s and has went to full tilt boogie nut job in the more recent days. His Focus on the Family magazine went from being fairy bland and banal to very political. He’s creepy.
Actually transvestites are guys that like to go out and “be female” every once in a while but have no desire to become women.(thats really a simplified definition though) Generally they are called crossdressers. They also generally don’t overdress.

Really the best definition for being transgendered would be anyone who thinks they are. Not enough is known to do otherwise. If you then categorize into smaller and smaller groups like “straight-acting” or transsexuals or whatever you only breed little groups that have no real meaning like defining people based on wether they are black or white.
