Click the links in my sig below. I’d reccommend clicking the “artist” one.
No can do. I’ve developed a list of contacts on AIM by keeping my mouth shut (and by having Hyatte approval).

Sorry 'bout the name confusion. :smack:
What’s your opinion on hometown wrestling here being relegated to the RSL Club circuit?
reprise
It really doesnt bother me that much. The best thing we can wish for is a venue and a live crowd.
Polycarp that wasn’t a typo. That’s actually what they call it
Here’s a few questions:
Has the increase in popularity of gimmick matches like ladder matches, TLC matches, and cage matches affected the way you have to work to keep the crowd’s attention during a match (i.e. more frequent and riskier high spots, faster pace)?
Has the WWE’s reluctance to push anyone other than Triple H and HBK on RAW seriously hurt the future of wrestlers like RVD, Booker T, and Chris Jericho, in your opinion?
If you could work a match with anyone, past or present, who would it be and why?
brianjedi
These gimmick matches havent really affected the aussie fans, as we have our own style in Australia aswell, sure there are people who will ask “so what kinda match is the main event gonna be?” at the major shows… but you will always have those people
I dont think it has hurt their future at all, it is just a bump in the road. I think the best thing for them right now would be to have their contract terminated and join the NWA:TNA… it just seems like the Pro-Wrestling land of opportunities.
Well, the first thing that entered my mind was “Al Snow, so at least i know im gonna win” but when i thought about it, i would have to go with either The Rock or Hulk Hogan, simply because the crowd would be so into the match, and the response we would get if we did it properly.
I believe that Pat Patterson’s long time partner is Steve Lombardi, AKA ‘The Brooklyn Brawler’.
Kal
Thats who it was, The Brooklyn Brawler.
I dont believe they are partners, but they are both just gay.
Correct me if i am wrong.
1: Even if it’s scripted the work looks exceptionally punishing. What happens to job related injured wrestlers after wrestling? Do you have medical and insurance plans provided by the organizations you wrestle for or are you on your own?
2: Do wrestlers have a problem with idiots and drunks wanting to “prove” themselves against them in bars and nightclubs.
Bah and heres me sitting in the wasteland of the damned for wrestling fans (germany) getting the odd tape from a trader to keep up at least the smallest bit with stuff.
Well I think my reaction will be similiar when the Taker comes back with his dead man walking gimmick on the Rumble, I know hes 5 years and at least 60 pounds over his horizon but I will still revert back to the 13 year old mark that cheered for the Undertaker in the Taker vs. Taker match.
Another Question for the OP after I had time to think about it, over here some of the older Eurowrestlers often complain that the business has become more fixated on taking insane bumbs and bloody hardcorematches instead of showing a well booked match, with all the dangers to the athletes health that comes from that. Whats your take on the ‘increased’ lust for blood of the audience?
Additional because on topic, who is the most hardcore out there? Foley? Sabu? Terry Funk? to name just a few that come to mind.
Does it matter what gimmick he uses? He no sells either way.

[hijack] Two of my favorite wrestling message board exchanges involved Mr Calloway. One was “I saw the Taker walking through an airport” Reply? “Did he no sell the People Mover?”. Another poster wrote a touching story about the birth of Taker and Sara’s child. When the doctor spanked the baby, it didn’t cry. The proud father said “That’s my boy”
The Funkster, without a doubt. Recently finished a match with a hole in his arm you could put your hand into. Considering his age, and he’s still out there giving 100%…unlike the Orange Goblin…
The OP is a returning troll. This thread is closed.
