One night we went to a club and there was a feature dancer who was a Hustler centerfold. She came out in a terrible-looking cowgirl costume and could. Not. Dance. Really, she was terrible, no rhythm, no interesting moves, and completely unremarkable in every other way.

Approximately one million. Seriously, maybe 30? It seems like we have an abundance of crappy little hole-in-the wall joints and hardly any good choices. My club and one other are just about the only decent places in town to work at. There are more that would appeal to guys, but I obviously look at it from a dancer perspective.
And NajaNivea, again I feel bad speaking out against female customers. There certainly are exceptions to the ones who have acted badly.

I don’t tell her anything. Most of the time I work on nights that she is at her dad’s. And if it’s a Saturday or something I just say that I’m going out. For all practical purposes I tell people that I do freelance work from home.
I find it easier to strip and be a parent than any other job I’ve had. Mainly because I work a fraction of the hours and make more than double what I did working in publishing. Life is easier when you have financial resources and time, and I am a happier person when I am doing what I love.

Interesting. How old is she? Surely you’ll have to tell her eventually (or she’ll find out), right? Do you have any idea of what you will tell her when she’s an appropriate age to handle it?
I wanted to ask about the erection thing too, but I see it already has been. If I ever went I would walk into the place with an erection! I didn’t know if that would be appropriate.

Not to nitpick, but it really sounds like you’re talking about the Clermont Lounge, which is on Ponce De Leon. It’s famous as a local institution more than anything… getting more popular with the ironic trucker-cap crowd more than actual working stiffs, but it still retains authenticity. Or that’s what I’ve heard. I applaud the concept, but if I’m going to a strip club, chubby is not what I’m aiming for.
I’ve only been to a strip club once, and only had a lap dance once. The women who danced on my lap put her bosom in my face and then battered me with her breasts. This would normally be very arousing, except for the fact that her breasts were as hard as rocks!
I guess the questions I could ask are: Is that behavior normal, how common are breast implants, and why were hers rock solid?

Speaking as someone who’s been to several across many states, I’d say that this is pretty darn common. Some girls with obnoxious implants seems to think that’s their bread-n-butter move.
Sometimes it’s fun, sometimes not so much. Depends on how she sells it I suppose.
Couple of questions:
Which nights (events, days of the week) are the best nights, generally? Both for you as a worker, and for the customers?
What is the story with “amateur nights”, I see them advertised but have never been. I suspect the volunteers are almost all strippers from other clubs looking to make a couple quick bucks or plans from within the club to keep the customers. What’s the straight dope?
Couple more questions I couldn’t add before the edit time expired:
Do you see the interaction between the customers a cat-and-mouse game of how much money you can get for how little you have to do to arouse them? Is a good lapdance always the best paying one?
Have you ever been especially aroused while doing a dance?
