Physical attractiveness is important to me, but in the past few years I’ve found men between the ages of 19-20 and about 50 (hey there, George Clooney, and hello to you too, sexy 47-year-old divorced dad and former gymnast who comes to my yoga studio) to be physically attractive. That’s a pretty big age spread. I imagine it will move upward as I age, too. Undeniably there are fewer hot guys over 35 than there are under, but they are out there.
Physical attractiveness isn’t what makes me want to date someone. I’ve met a lot of people I think are cute, I’ve been interested in very few of them as human beings.
Would I seek out a relationship with someone 10+ older than me, intentionally? No. Am I open to dating someone much older than me in the future if they are attractive and compatible? Absolutely.
