Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your mother in this difficult time.
Thanks to all of you with the good thoughts and prayers.
The surgery was long and intensive but successful; my mother is now in subacute care. They expect to move her to a regular room sometime next week.
Recovery will be a couple months or more but she’s going to come out of this is better shape than she’s been in for a long time, truly the beginning of the rest of her life and an improved quality of everyday living.
Please keep a good thought for me and mine as we do what needs be done. And thank you again; I’m convinced her good outcome is because of all the great folks pulling for her. I pray for strength to be patient and kind during the lengthy recovery.
