Apologies? Hell no. I apologized to aha, Ducky Goo, Feynn, and a couple others. I ain’t apologizing to Cnote. I honestly don’t think I owe one to him/her. But I suppose you’re right, the bait part could’ve gone without saying whether it was true or not.
And just because I’m on a roll, sorry Coldfire! That’s one apology for ya, I’m sure you’ll have occasion to use it some time in the future.

If you’ll note the times of the last posts, and take into account that I assumed the thread was over, per Freaks request, my last posts might make more sense.
Once he stopped I stopped. It was late, I cracked open a beer, and I moved on to different things.
I then spotted some responses to this thread. I checked it and noticed Freak had a new sense of courage in the form of Silver_Fire (I didn’t know you were a women, by the way. Correction made). Not much of an intelligent mentor, in my opinion, but to each their own.
What I thought would be a few short posts turned into a flurry of childish posts with little or no substantive value. It went from the mundane into the realm of true pointlessness.
He knew he had been beat quite fairly but couldn’t let it drop.
I have nieces and nephews who act just like this. I should have seen the tantrum for what it was and simply left this thread alone. I didn’t then, but I will now.

When I first made my post, I specifically said I had NO comment on the issue at hand, and frankly, I don’t care what YOU personally call ultress. That’s between you and ultress.
What I saw from you that required comment had NOTHING to do with whatever’s going on in MPSIMS. I will spell it out slowly so you will understand, because you seem to be having trouble.
You told someone that they couldn’t defend a statement by saying “lots of people do it.”
You then defended calling ultress a bitch by saying that lots of other people do it.
These two statements are incongruous, and that is hypocrisy defined. Once again, this has NOTHING to do with what you said, and everything to do with how you said it. When you say you weren’t trying to justify calling ultress a bitch, that’s fine. Your opinion is your own. Why do you feel the need, then, to claim that other people feel the same way? If that’s not trying to defend your statement, what is it? And then when I ask you how you can so blatantly tell one person to not do something while doing it yourself, you start going off on some rant about how you’ve consistently apologized. To which I will once again say, THAT’S NOT THE FUCKING ISSUE HERE! I don’t give a flying fuck, a rolling fuck, a diving fuck, a pike double somersault fuck with one and a half twists, or any other type of fuck whether or not you’ve consistently apologized. You’ve consistently apologized for what you’ve said (I guess–I sure as hell haven’t noticed), but you haven’t consistently apologized for being a hypocrite toward CNote. And THAT’S what I was pointing out, and I made it perfectly clear to anyone with half a brain. Dig?
Wrong. I was never trying to defend it. I stated earlier that I wasn’t the only one who had noticed her saying something cruel, therefore pointing out that it might not just be a matter of my perception alone, in an attempt to supercede any comments like “Well maybe you just don’t have a sense of humor”. Then ultress claimed this wasn’t true, saying something along the lines of “well, I haven’t seen it”. So when I said that other people were calling her a bitch, it was not in an attempt to justify my opinion of her, it was to defend my earlier statement, and hopefully insult her along the way.
And don’t jump all over me for that small detail. It’s not like you’re entirely free of hypocrisy yourself. No one is. Except maybe for rocks, they always know where they’re at. And it’s always the same place.
Because she claimed that other people didn’t feel the same way. It wasn’t in the attempt to prove me right. It was in the attempt to prove her wrong. No more, no less.
That was a cheap shot, especially considering that I haven’t made any shots towards you. Utterly beneath you. Have some dignity, you’re gonna be a lawyer for christ’s sake.
Well then, you just haven’t been paying attention. In fact, the only people I haven’t apologized to are Cnote and ultress. Because, so far as I see, I have no reason to apologize to them.
When I said that I had apologized and admitted that I was wrong several times, it was in response to this:
I was trying to say that I have tried to meet some people half-way, but only those who didn’t try to insult me the whole-way.
