Assuming that Trump wins and the Democrats regain the House, what’s the Over/Under on impeachments sent to the Senate?

For the four years, I’m going to set the line at 1.5. Do you want the over or the under?

Under.

I don’t think Trump will necessarily serve his full term, to be honest. I’m also not really expecting him to do very much. He just wanted to be President again to grift some more and remove the stain of losing to Biden.

Also, I think the House will be GOP for at least the first 2 years, which obviously will eliminate the chance for any impeachments.

Under. Does anybody still think that kind of procedural bullshit matters? In 2019, there was still a faint hope that Trump could be exposed as a crook in some way that would cause people to turn against him. That didn’t really work (the impeachment had no effect on anything), and in any case, Trump is surely now the most exposed person on the planet.

Furthermore, if Democrats are lucky enough to get the House, it would be a pretty narrow majority, with the marginal members probably(?) representing seats that Trump himself won.

And stay out of prison.
