Astrological Dopers. Read us!

One more question. How far apart do the dates need to be? Would one day apart, for example, be too close to make this experiment worthwhile? It would be strange if that weren’t true.

Consider the case of someone born at 11:59pm on Feb 2nd versus someone born at 12:02am on Feb 3rd at the same hospital. Would their readings be totally different?

Consider the case of two hospitals, one on either side of a time line but less than a mile apart. Two children are born at the exact same moment but one is born at 11:30 pm Pacific time on Feb 2nd and the other at 12:30 am Mountain time on Feb 3rd. Would their readings be totally different?

By the way, my sister-in-laws are fraternal twins. I have never met two totally different people with two totally different lives.

Haj

I have to run and won’t be back for a few hours but I am excited to try this experiment. Also, I’d prefer to go with five dates to reduce the odds but if that’s too much work, I am more than willing to accept the original challange of three.

Jessica2 - 7/26/79:

Artistic and very much offended by criticism. Very much a risk-taker. People may find you abrasive, because you tend to tell it like it is. Are you a vegetarian? If not, you probably should be.

CadburyAngel - 11/14/83:

Very curious, observant and dedicated. You have a tendency to be overly critical of others and can be ruthless about getting what you want. Prone to hypochondria, but if there are medical problems they’re likely weight-related.

Tristan - 12/16/74:

You are the Peter Pan - a lover of adventure and new toys. You may flirt with manic-depressive tendencies, although this is usually not clinical - more a series of highs and lows that you take very seriously. Only medical thingies, I think, are probably stress-related, and probably not serious; things like headaches and tummyaches before tests.

brachyrhynchos - 4/11/56:

Probably a good planner and mediator - you like to get things done and hate when people can’t focus on the goal. You may have a knack for foreign languages and a tendency to be superstitious. The jokes you laugh at most are practical jokes. I’d guess medical problems would come from either weight related issues or not getting enough sleep - maybe both.

Washte - 5/29/71:

Good problem-solver, creative and quick. You will always find a way to get something done and take it personally when something gets in your way. You’re also very dramatic, and you enjoy watching a drama unfold. It’s likely that medical problems are related to all-around klutziness - sprained ankles, fingers slammed in doors, that sort of thing.

twickster47 12/31/54:

You are absolutely perfect and have no flaws. (OK, that’s a big lie, but you share my birthdate  ) You’re probably a crusader and very opinionated about it. Very dependable and have a tendency to “know what’s best”, which makes some people think you’re bossy. Watch your knees - that’s where you’re likely to encounter medical problems.

Haj - we can split the difference. I’ll do four. Give me your birthdate, a date close to that, and two dates not even remotely close to your birthdate, but close to each other. Since I’m not doing specific detailed star charts, keep the dates at least one day apart.

About twins - when generalizing, as I have been doing, it’s very easy to find commonality - as you have pointed out, lots of this could apply to ANYBODY. When really delving in to personalities, you’d also take into consideration birth order, exact time of birth, lots of other aspects.

Aesiron - It’s simply good manners not to point out someone’s flaws  Now that you’ve given me info about yourself, it negates the objectivity of this observation, but I’ll go ahead anyway: what I meant was, you’ll go about doing good deeds IF there’s something in it for you.

Broken Doll, RyanLiam, Obsidian Fluterby and Swimming Riddles - I’ll be back - I have to get off the computer before my family forgets who’s in charge around here.

Hm. . .

Somewhat artistic, sometimes. I’m not too offended by criticism, I try to think about it and improve whatever I was criticized for.

Tell it like it is? Hell yes! Abrasive? Maybe. Honestly, if it needs to be said, I’m usually the person that will say it - depending on the situation, of course. I don’t think I’m much of a risk taker, though. I dunno, I’ll have to think about that one.

Thanks, LifeOnWry!

Hurry up Life!

My hubby laughed when I read what you had come up with - well we both did actually.

This is very very accurate, especially the klutziness (hubby wants to pad the door frames). I am a good problem solver, creative (published author, placed in art exhibition, etc), and unfortunately do take it very personally when things don’t go according to plan.

Kal asks you to do him if you get a chance as well, please.

Chill Ryan. Be thankful she’s doing this for everyone.

[ul][li] I’m a better planner than I used to be. I might mediate on non-personal issues.[/li][li] I wish I had a knack for foreign languages - am still a verbal illiterate in French despite the years of classes.[/li][li] I am superstitious when it comes to the Angels.[/li][li] I’m more into punnery and slapstick.[/li][li] Weight and sleep - yep. When on a diet, I have to be careful not to slip into a non-eating mode. And I can always use more sleep![/ul][/li]Thanks LifeOnWry! That was fun!

Oooo Oooo I wanna try!

Broken Doll - 1/8/83:

Independent, cautious and a bit of a worry-wart. May be compulsively neat and tidy, and is likely to have bone and skeletal problems - possibly even a disabling handicap. Has a tendency to push to the very limit on achieving goals set. (Please note for the record - as I was typing this, and not before, I made the connection from possible handicap to the user name “Broken Doll” - if this is accurate, it will actually freak me out a LOT.)

Ryan_Liam - 9/3/85:

This is a very easily misunderstood person, particularly if you are very good looking - people tend to dismiss you as a pretty face. This is a mistake on their part. You’re conservative, trustworthy and you don’t believe in taking shortcuts. You are not easily taken in by flattery, which is what most people will try to pull on you. Very likely low physical energy - exercise more!

Obsidian Flutterby - 11/18/82:

Very social, ambitious and intuitive. This is a tempermental soul, but in a good mood, this person is THE life of the party. Probably lacks discipline and willpower. Very sweet, but don’t cross this person, because she has an acid tongue. Physically, probably very skinny or wiry.

Swimming Riddles - 11/28/79:

Creative, charming and insecure - you’re also the type who would be late for your own funeral, because you don’t “get” schedules. A great project starter, but not-so-hot about finishing things. Often, your humor is so dry that people don’t even get it. Beware of a potential for addiction, particularly booze, and lung problems like bronchitis or pneumonia.

Kal - 4/23/68:

This is someone who craves security - mental, physical and professional. Likely to be a teacher or other type of leader. Very dependable and probably extremely good with his hands - maybe whittling or magic tricks. Physical things to look out for: arthritis and neck problems.

Me too!

Oh, someone snuck in on me.

Chaco - 1/3/76:

This is an attention seeker, and is probably someone very open and friendly. Host with the most - loves to throw parties, the bigger the better. Likely to be surrounded by clutter, but it’s all “useful” stuff, even if no one else can guess what the use could possibly be. Knee problems here, too.

Oh, oh, me too! That is, if you’re not overloaded already.

Can’t remember the time, but it was early evening.

If you’re too pressed to do a reading, could you tell me whether I’m Taurus or Gemini? Never have gotten a good answer on that one.

You’re the coolest Wry!

Wow, this was eerily close to how I am. The part that scared me the first time I read it was

I read it as loves to throw panties… I should go get more sleep.

Ooohh! Ohhh! I wanna play!
