I have a package coming to me that requires a signature. I requested that the package be held at my local FedEx facility because I would not be home until very late at night on the expected delivery date.
However, today, I am home, and the package is “at [the] destination sort facility.”
Does this mean I can pop-up at my local FedEx and pick up my package? :dubious::dubious:
Maybe. You could try it if they’re open today (or call and ask if that’s an option).
In general yes but be prepared to wait around a very long time while they figure out what they did with it.
All right I called my local FedEx branch and the representative confirmed that the package was not at the local branch but at the local shipping hub, and that I would have to wait an additional 3 days for the package to make it from the hub to the local branch.
Both the hub and FedEx branch are in the same town! Funny how it only took 2 days for the package to make it from Texas to Florida (my state) … yet it’s going to take another 3 (!) days for the package to make it across town to my local FedEx branch!
