At least a bit of good news!

After school, on days that I do not work, I run for about a half hr at school, just to keep in shape. Well, the other day, after running for a half hr, I remember that earlier that day one of my friends mentioned that there were A Capella (a nationally HIGHLY respected choir in my school) try-outs this week. so, I walked in the choir hall (the hall leading into the choir room) and saw the sheet. I glanced at my watch to see “4:18” glaring back at me, and from the sheet, I read that the ONLY open time this week, was 4:25 that day. so I signed up.
now I used to be quite the vocalist through grade-school, and into Junior high. so I went in there, a little nervous but not shaken. He went through everything with me, singing the scales, finding my range (solid 2-octave, 2nd/1st tenor range) and sang with an open mouth, and then he asked me to sing a song. I couldn’t think of ANY to sng (about 30 seconds after the audition I though of I’m Sailing Away" by Styx) so I chose Row Row Row your boat.
After I finished singing he asked me why I hadn’t been in choir since 8th grade, and told him I wanted to devote more time to my studies. He then told me that I have nearly committed a sin with not using my voice in chor, and told me that I would be a GREAT asset to A Capella next year, and my senior year. He told me, also, that I have perfect vocal note remembrance and reproduction, great range, great tone and sound, and great volume control.
I just found out the day before the tryouts that A Capella is going on tour next year

to ** SWEDEN and/or FINLAND!!! **
This would be on my Spring break, also, so I wouldn’t miss ANY school!

ooohhhh PLEASE pray for me for this too, everyone?!

P.S. He told me to expect to be called back for Re-calls
I’m not officially in yet

Cool! Good Luck!

ADAM!!!
