Okay, I’ve got the server showing up on the website. Could someone please check that they can actually get a server response and get the lobby and game to show up? That’s something I can’t test from the same computer or inside my local network.
The server is showing up under public servers, but the connection is timing out when trying to connect.
I’m out of town tonight. Don’t let the new player school you guys.
Also, I can’t ping the server (you might have ICMP disabled so this might be meaningless).
The SDMB server is not showing up for me.
The Straight Dope Message Board is showing up on public servers, but it is not loading when I select it.
Okay, it obviously doesn’t want to work in WINE. I’ll try a full-blown VM. If that doesn’t work, I’ll see if I can get Boot Camp to start working again.

Well, I don’t think I’ll get it to work tonight. Boot Camp just crapped out again. Would someone like to take over hosting duties for a week or two until I get the new parts in? I’ll send the file and walk you through it.

Pretty much, but you’ll have to get there early to re-register.
You’ll have to create a new account, as the backup server I’m hosting doesn’t come with your original account information - same username is fine (although if you’re security conscious, a different password is a good idea - who knows if we can trust this fubbleskag character).
