Atomfilms-Streaming Video or Just Pictures?

      • Now having a cable connection, I figured that I could visit the online movie sites and watch all the movies. I went to Atomfilms, and none are working as “real” movies though: all I get is streaming sound, with pictures that occasionally change completely every couple seconds. If I replay the same movie, I get the same sequences of photos, so I am assuming that’s the way it should work. Or is it? Is this the big deal? It seems like I used to watch them at school, and they were real, actual movies… - DougC

Yes, you should be getting full-on streaming video from AtomFilms. Most of the films there are pretty bad (okay, enough with the film parodies already!), but there are also some real gems, worth seeking out. It sounds like maybe your media settings are wrong. WAG, but maybe they’re still set to a dial-up speed? Also, they have a few different options on which media player you want to use. Try a different one (there are download links if you don’t have them). There should be a ‘change connection setting’ link under the film itself.

Well that was quick, and correct.

Check out “This Guy is Falling.” An excellent short and a neat little pun.
