Beg to differ – DC is pretty much the southern edge. MADs are heavily in VA and MD, but also extend up to PA, NJ, and DE. There’s a WV Doper we’re trying to convince to come to Gettysdope as well.
In the past, there have been folks from southern VA and NC who were regulars at MAD events. I think there has been a shift northwards, though.
