I was performing my normal Monday night check for new Strong Bad Email when I made a disturbing discovery. Homestarrunner.com has gone missing. The only thing to be found there now is a Yahoo 404 message. Does anyone know what happened? Did they exceed their traffic limit? Did someone forget to feed their hamsters? Has The Cheat finally succeeded in sabotaging the server?
They were up earlier today, the new SBEmail was pretty cool.

I recently discovered Homestar and friends, and they crack me up. They were here earlier today, so I’m not sure what the problem is. Hopefully Homestar will return…or at least Homsar.

My guess is that the people that run the site (I see people, because I get the sense that they’re not some huge corporation or anything) couldn’t pay one of their bills to Yahoo, or else Yahoo’s servers are down. Let’s just hope that it comes back up sometime soon, because it was some really good Flash work, very funny.

From what I gather, I’m not alone in completely ignoring everything on homestarruner.com with the exception of the brilliant Strongbad email feature. Give it a try, Brodelong, it’s great stuff!
