Anyway, I regret that post-holiday finances dictate that I am unable to make it.

Ohhhhhhhh someone remembers me :eek: lol… only kidding… I’ve met with Twisty already (he was a bit hot that day and I dont think Guinness was the best plan!) with Tir in her local… but sadly won’t be able to make it to the LonDope as I will be on hols in West Cork with the love of my life (Emofkuniv, you know who you are lol)…
Yes, we met (E and I) on here about 2 months ago (another Doper couple!!!) and yes I remember the date clearly. We’ve been having huge fun ever since… this man is the most incredible man on earth and I adore him beyond measure… just thought I’d tell ya why we’re gonna be a tad busy and can’t make it to LonDope!!!
But I hope you all have a great time and I’m sure we’ll drink to your health… and then get back to whatever it was we were doing

I’m so happy for you and Emofkuniv, you make the perfect couple. Shame you wont be there for the fest, but there will be others, and you two will have to attend just so people can run a book on which of us doper couples (there’s a few others too) can out glurge the others!

As did I. It was fun, as the piccies prove. However, you’ll be without me this time - too much work, and my cousin’s wedding on the same day as the DopeFest prevent me from attending.

I had a thought - anyone fancy a matinee performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream in the Regents Park open air theatre on Saturday afternoon? Cheapest tickets £9 (back row). I’ve checked availability - still plenty of tickets left but they may go quite quickly.
