After several months without internet, I’m back, and living in Austin.

So, anyone want to have a get-together?

I’d be interested in coming down to Austin for a dopefest. I just moved to Texas and want to see Austin.

Yay!

I’m free a lot, since Blockbuster isn’t exactly time consuming. But I almost always work Fridays, and usually Sundays.

Evenings are good for me.

I don’t know how to set up a thing like this, but I figure we can wing it.

I may or may not (depending on work) be in Austin the last weekend in January.

I’m good for another BatDope. Typically Sundays are the best for me, but I’m sure with enough of a heads up, I can come down with some sort of cold or something for a Saturday get together. Silver Serpentine, you brought it up, so you pick the place and date.

May I suggest either the weekend right before (Jan 30) the Super Bowl or right after (Feb. 13)? Don’t know if there are other NFL fans who want to attend, but those two weekends might work.

I’m sure I can work Feb. 13 into my schedule.

At previous Batdopes, we’ve gone to the Salt Lick, Shady Grove, Chuy’s, Spaghetti Warehouse and the Hula Hut.

Chuy’s is that fun Mexican restaurant, right? (I’m still kind of new back, and haven’t caught on all the way). That sounds like fun.

An aside: ever since I moved to Oregon, I’ve been dying for good Tex-Mex. There apparently is no such animal here. Barbecue, either- I’ve been giving serious thought to having Salt Lick airmail me some ribs.

It occured to me that I won’t really be able to firm up if the 13th works for me until I get my semester’s syllabi in a couple weeks. It should be fine, though.
