We need to take a head count the week before. When you turn up see the waitress and say “I’m here with the Cecil Adams Party, are they here yet” if yes, head for the party of dorks. If no, then get your name in the book for a party of six, eating at around 2:30.

I have no idea how to organize everything. Not a clue, heh. So . . . let me know what I have to do, if anything. Or we can just show up and meet outside?
Sadly, I have no hats. I do have a big fluffy purple scarf, which stands out pretty well since I wear all black.
Saturday works for me. I’d forgotten that I’ll have kendo on Sundays again, so I would have had to work around that if it had been held on Sunday.
:mad: Barton Springs is central. 11680 Research is practically in New Mexico. All you newcomers in North Austin/Cedar Park/Round Rock are never going to convince me that 183 and MoPac is the “center” of town.

So, we have no money, but The Cody was supposed to get his check in the mail this afternoon, like he does every Friday. Apparently Manpower mails checks.
Did he get it? Nope.
Do I have enough gas to get to Chuy’s tomorrow? Hell no.
Am I going to make it? Not without a miracle.

I might even be able to make it. We;ll see how tomorrow goes.

I can’t believe that I forgot about this. I was even planning on bumping the thread on Wednesday or Thursday.

So who showed? Just Fionn and bandgap? I was this close to popping by (even tho’ I hadnt’ responded to the thread) but we had a race that morning and then I coached for three hours and I wound up just falling asleep on the couch. Sorry to hear it wasn’t better attended…
I don’t know… I drove all of the way up there, but got a call needing my attention just after going in at 2.
El Elvis Rojo was there too. We had a good lunch with some good chips and salsa, so things didn’t turn out badly.
