I’m fairly sure I’m going to come. I’ll be in SA for the day and I’ll have one or two guests with me. We should be able to make it to Austin by 6. We’re hoping the Houston group can make it (Ayesha, beatle, MsRobyn), we’d love to meet as many of y’all as possible.
I plan to be visiting with PurpleBear during the day, so if she can make it, she’ll probably be along at about the same time. She’ll probably be posting her plans soon.

MsRobyn had to bail as her employment went into suspense today. I’m going to examine the situation when I get up tomorrow - if the rain on the NOAA site looks as bad as it did today for the coastal plain I may bail as well. Updates tomorrow.

Well, hello, all you wonderful Austinites. <Did I spell that right? ;)> It looks like, barring any really adverse weather, that Mr Bear and I will be attending this dopefest. However, as Jim said, it’s unlikely we could get there before 6pm or so. Jim and his friend have promised to not walk my feet off so I’ll still have some energy left to head up there. 
Bluebear most likely won’t be coming along this time; however I may persuade luminousman to tag along, now that he’s a doper too. <Our daughter and son, for those who don’t know yet.>
So, count Mr Bear and I in, and possibly son. If Freud can’t make it, maiden, let me know, and we’ll stop by and pick you up. Or perhaps another doper would be so kind, since you live in Pflugerville and Chuy’s is near my son’s apt. Let me know either way, and I look forward to seeing you again. Yay! Chuy’s today! I just got in from Ft Worth and the traffic is pretty heavy. I forgot there was a UT game today. What school spirit, hm?
I just called Chuy’s and they do not take reservations. The hostess said the wait has been about an hour all day and that a group of 20 would probably be considerably longer. Maybe we should give some thought to splitting into a couple of tables and then we can just play musical chairs all night.
