Austin Dopers: Need Info

I’m travelling from Houston to Austin next weekend (the 13th), specifically, to the Chaparral Ice Center for some ice hockey tryouts. I was there in February so I know there are several motels within a mile or so of the rink but for the life of me I cannot remember their names, other than the Baymont Inn about a mile away on Parker Drive (no vacancy except for a smoking room, blech- no offense to the smokers). Chaparral Rink is near Round Rock close to I-35 as I recall. I could spend awhile on the internet trying to figure out what’s near there, but I figured I’d ask you guys first if anyone knew the names of the places right near there to save myself the keystrokes!

If you do, let me know.

and I’ve used a few keystrokes and I can’t find anything of the places next door. Its going to be after midnight before we’re finished, so I’m not keen on driving into Austin to crash.

you know, I pulled up the Quality Inn, and it didn’t give it as .47 miles away! weird. Thanks for the info.

oh – most likely won’t be able to make the batdope – we don’t get on the ice until 10:15 p.m.!! but thanks for pointing it out – I wasn’t aware of it.
