When I first heard about the Logie Awards I thought the people were joking. Awards for for Australian TV shows. I could not believe they would give awards. They actually choose between Neighbours and Home and Away !
The biggest joke of all is that the awards are voted on by TV week readers who I am informed of are mainly bogans (white trash would be the US equivalent I think- although there is no race component to the term bogan).
