Automatically subscribe to your own thread?

I started a thread in GQ this morning. I was surprised that the system didn’t automatically subscribe me to my own thread. Is this something that could be done?

Default Thread Subscription Mode
When you post a new thread, or reply to a topic, you can choose to automatically add that thread to your list of subscribed threads, with the option to receive email notification of new replies to that thread.

Click on User CP (near the top left of the page) and scroll down to where it lets you change your default subscription mode.

Even if you have that set, the boards will occasionally hiccup and not subscribe you to a thread you’ve started/posted in. C’est la vie, I suppose.
