Okay, I can’t keep track of everything, so appropriate hugs and yays and boos and whatever all around. I’ll try to keep up after today. Not much happening here; my ear is much better, so I will finally get this tooth taken care of on Tuesday (:eek:).
Bed is calling. It’s on the earlyish side but I think I will go crawl in with a book. FCM, my house is open too. So nice and cool at night! Mid 40s. Excellent sleeping weather.
I’d hate to think what lurks in my septic tank. Besides, that’s in Morehead City, not Raleigh…
ETA: I just got back from a call at the Old Folk’s Warehouse for lifting help with a bariatric patient. My buddy the magistrate was there, and he said I won’t get in trouble for smoking a bear in my trash, considering the trash trailer lives 30 feet from my back door. It’ll be far too easy for said bear to get in my house if s/he’s really hungry.
Maybe the training program is so bad that it bores the servers.

And today is my (and I suspect quite a few others) FIRDAY for the 4th of July, since the actual 4th falls on Saturday. So woo hoo for that!
The ones that make you remember Spaz’ puns? Is that correct grammar, that apostrophe? Putting an s after a z looks funny.
Did I give my tuna-in-tomato recipe for the blog? That might work with the fish, Bobbio, although something that fresh I’d just grill it.

Up caffeinated and off to work after 3 days off. Got to spend 2 of them with my honey, so I can’t complain.
Just found out that my foreclosure date is August 27th, so I decided to move to the city where my girlfriend lives. Maybe even move in with her, don’t know yet. I doubt if our cats will get along, hers hates everyone and everything. Now I have to finish the packing I started a few months ago when I realized this was coming. I need to sell or donate a lot more stuff.
I read but didn’t retain, so rosies sig to all.

Charlotte’s not too bad. I can’t stand it, but that’s because I grew up in the extreme suburbs (about an hour north) but I know a lot of people there and they like it.

Whew - I am beat, but I got a lot done. **FCD **came back from the marina and helped me empty the master bedroom, and I just finished cleaning that carpet, including the hork that’s been there who knows how long… :eek: May I just say that I LOVE MY CARPET CLEANER!!! It’s almost as easy to use as a vacuum cleaner and it does a terrific job. Plus it was free! I got it for credit card points, so yay! You wouldn’t believe how many flea carcasses I sucked up with that thing!
Once I’ve rested a bit, I’m going to return to my studio - I’d like to finish underglazing today if I can. I’m also laundering all the afghans - dog and human alike, as they all harbored fleas. And once they’re clean and dry, I’m going to bag them all and store them in the guest room closet. It’s too warm for them anyway. And the dogs do just fine on the carpet.
It’s stayed mild enough that I don’t have to close up the house, so with the windows open and the ceiling fans going, the rooms should be dry pretty fast. I hope… This room is almost dry already.
Off to surf a bit more, then I’ll go back to my glazing table. Or nap. Either way…

It’s been threatening to rain for nearly 3 days now, but so far there’s been zero precipitation… which means yours truly has been threatening a migraine for nearly 3 days now, and is reaching critical levels of cranky. It was all I could do not to stab someone with a pen when they made a snarky comment earlier today. I normally wouldn’t say this, but… can haz rain, pls? kthx.

Howdy Y’all! I have two chickens roastin’ away in a roaster oven. They shall be turned into chicken sallit. They’ve been roastin’ over an hour and already smell nummy! It’s a slow roast for about three hours.
Other than that I got nuttin’. Dindin tonight is leftover veggie lasagna and sallit.
Walls sorry about the foreclosure. I’m sure things will work out well with the friend and the cats. Here’s to new beginnin’s.

What did you get? We got a Hoover “Platinum” not long ago and it cleans circles around our older machine that was a mere “Spin Scrub” design.
Speaking of foreclosures - anyone have any idea how long it generally takes from not being able to pay a mortgage to being kicked out?
