Usually, there are avatars beside the usernames of whoever’s been quoted. Those avatars flicker on, then vanish.

It’s pretty jarring when you come here from any other Discourse board in the world and things ain’t where they ought to be.
The old board never showed avatars in quotes. At least it didn’t for me.
The old board was also not a Discourse board with that certain Discourse style.
Ah, well I’d never even heard of Discourse before this adventure, so I have no preconceived expectations.
