AverMedia piece of @!&@(*&

Ok, my cousin gave me his Tv Tuner Card. Its an AverMedia (as you can tell by title). I can’t seem to find the correct driver for WinXP, and the websites support page might as well have been organized by a 2 year old without any fingers. Anyone know about this product, plEase help
thanks

I just went to their website, and chose Support, Downloads, which led me to this page. From there, it looks like choosing the product you’ve got, and choosing WinXP as your OS, gets you to the manuals, the drivers, all kinds of stuff. I’m not familiar with their stuff, but it sounds like you’ve got “AverTV,” which is the first product on their list.

If it’s any consolation, I’m having the same problem. I got the card a while ago, but my harddrive was erased, and I lost the CD, so I don’t have the software anymore. I’ve tried every driver on the site and none of them work. It’s pretty irritating.

Ill give it a shot (cause having 1 tv and 4 roomies doesnt always work out)
Ill keep ya posted

NOPE…still not working. When I run setup i get message
“CoInitialize Fail!”

Arrg…this is UBER-frustrating…HELP!!

well…i have managed to actually install this damned piece of @#&$*( drivers…took me a solid hour of trying every possible combination. Heres what the readme file says: (NOTE: If you actually get to the point of actually installing everything…you have to contend with a STUPID message askin you for a cd key (which it didnt ask for the first time I installed it). So if you have one, fantastic…if not, then youre stuck up shit creek w/o a paddle. Which in my case might as well have left me w/o installin the damn thing.
Please help

NOTE: When you install this WDM driver, you need to input “Product-Key.” If you
