The analogy’s not that deep. Beyond that fact that you and the homeless guy are both crazy-stupid, all else is up to the imagination of the reader.
That’s pitiful really. I assumed he would start this thread so I didn’t even bother turning on my computer.
And you really don’t understand… nevermind.
It’s part of the Rovian theme of using the strength of one’s opponent against them. Is your opponent well liked by a majority of the people?
Hmmmm… Let’s say he’s WORSHIPPED! By Crazed ADULATORS! ya, that’s good.
Let me guess: Karl Rove hired schoolchildren to sing Obama’s praises and then passed the tape off as authentic. That’s when Glenn Beck aired the video on FOX News!!! Brilliant! I’ll bet he didn’t even have to go back in time using the Halliburton ‘Hurricane Machine’ to do it, either!
Schoolchildren have been known to sing a great many things. But for example, I am not afraid that the wheels are actually coming off the Batmobile.
That shit is rock-solid.
Good point, I submit, you win.
Folks, I don’t make this stuff up. I was watching Michelle Malkin on Fox & Friends this morning going apeshit about the Olympics bid, and I recall thinking, “So having the Olympics in America is a horrible thing? I wonder what they’ll say if the Olympics *aren’t *held here.” Sure enough…
It’s either Harold or Tiberius, IIRC
You’ve learned the time-honored self-defense mechanism of “humoring the lunatic”, I see.
lunatic…child…either one works.
I blame Michael Jordan.
See!!! Children like the president too!
That proves something! He’s so popular that… he must have hypnotized them or something!
And never mind the fact that students sang about Bush, too.
Very politely understated.
A more honest reason to not have the Olympics in Chicago is that Chicago is just a huge shit hole, nestled in the armpit of the American midwest.
“Come for the corruption, stay for the crime.” Is not an effective motto for a major city. The FBI doesn’t even use the crime statistics that are provided by the Chicago police department because Chicago counts crimes ‘differently’.
The decision reflects poorly upon Chicago, not Obama.
Well yes, but don’t you remember when the kids sang songs praising Bush about his response to Katrina there was an outcry from the crazy lefties? When they called it “indoctrination of our nations… children” and “fanaticism.”
And didn’t the lefty moonbats write “this is the type of propaganda you would see in Stalin’s Russia or Kim Jong Il’s North Korea. I never thought the day would come when I’d see it here in America.”
Oh no, wait.
Those quotes are from “Friend,” RNC Chairman Michael Steele, talking about children singing about Obama.
Right Wingers may not realize this, but Obama is not being worshipped by liberals. The left wing blogosphere is not an Obama lovefest. There’s quite a bit of criticism directed toward his policy decisions (for trying too hard to be “bipartisan” on health care, doing nothing to repeal “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell”, not scaling back Bush’s expansion of executive power, etc).
Why can’t every Olympics be held in the USA? It’s not like it’s a world participation event or anything.
So I guess now we’ll invade Brazil and take back what’s rightfully ours?
Jesus this is moronic.
To put this into perspective: We’ve hosted the Olympic games a total of eight times since 1896, out of a possible twenty eight. Last time we hosted it was in 1996.
The U.S only contains about 5% of the world’s population. Yet we’ve hosted the Olympics 28% of the time. Nothing tragic about this at all.
Same as Harry Truman’s, I believe.
