Read her OP, and I challenge you to not tear up having heard how things have turned out.
I never actually got to ‘meet’ Ayesha here on the boards, but I thoroughly enjoyed her posts. After having gone through with the grueling health issues my brother has faced in the last year (and thankfully, is now finally at peace over), my heart really goes out to her and all her loved ones. I’ll be thinking of them and praying for their best.

I met Ayesha and Lion at the one and only Dopefest I attended in Houston a few years back and they were just great, really sweet and down to earth folks. So sorry to hear about this. My thoughts are with them.

I’m so sad to hear this: Ayesha , I remember, as this good gracious heart here on the SD when I wandered in here. She has been a great, enthusiastic voice, full of fun, and much great wit, with heart to match.

Ah, geez. This just isn’t fair. Ayesha is one of the good ones, and we can ill afford to lose her.
She gave me comfort when I was low, and I have always adored her, both here and at Fathom. I wish I could have met her in person.
Someone recently started a thread, “Would we know if you died?” What a coincidence!
Whenever a member of a community of which I am a member passes, I am always reminded of John Donne’s words, “Do not send to ask for whom the bell tolls, it tolls for thee.” Ayesha, you are one of us, and your loss lessens us. We are richer for having known you, and poorer for having lost you.
This is so sad…I was familiar with Ayesha’s posts on both boards. My sympathies.
I remember Ayesha from way back in the day, from when I first joined the board. She sent me a box of her homemade hot cocoa mix. It was good stuff, too.
I hope she knows of all the love and support she’s getting from all the friends she made here.
