I remember her from my early days on the boards; she was one of the characters that made this place so enjoyable. I’m so sorry to hear that she is losing this fight.

I remember Ayesha from when I became attached here. She typified the funny, fair but brutal tone of the Boards then. I just lost a good friend to a long illness last night and I saw a lot of his long, dignified but always realistic fight. I knew enough of Ayesha to think she is going well too.
My thoughts and prayers go out to Ayesha, LionSOB and their families. I’ve read Ayesha’s posts over the years and always thought well of her opinions. I’m sorry that her fight with Hep-C has ended up this way, but I’m sure that nobody has fought harder than she has. At the end of the day I’m glad that we can still read her words in this digital world, but I’m envious of those who know her in the real world.

I’m very sorry to hear it. I’ve lost one family member to Hepatitis C, and have another currently in treatment. It’s a hard, hard disease. Condolences to her family and friends.
