AZ Time: Daylight Savings Optional?

This may not be unique to AZ, but AZ is the only state I’ve heard something about: Is it true that parts of AZ do not keep Daylight Savings? Or, could it also the opposite (they refuse to set the clock back?) Anyway, how do they keep time and function with the rest of the USA?
