I’ve noticed that I have developed Bush-speak in my posts. It’s getting worse. I was fairly coherent when Kennedy was in office.
Hi everyone. I am tired of trying to hide it. I’ve gone through the denial-anger-acceptance phases and I must admit. I am a Bush-Basher.
Sure, the vast majority of you are shocked at what I am saying. But I must admit it is true.
The thing is, it is so easy to go into a “Dubya-Bashing” rant. I mean you try to like the guy. But then you realize he’s like the spoiled kid in your neighborhood, or some brat you went to school with right?
He’s like the son of the mayor or some rich guy in town or son of the Police Chief. And then because of his father, they make him quarterback of the high school football team … but you KNOW there are so many other players so much better than he is. The football team consistently loses games but does anyone dare question why that spoiled brat is stil the quarterback? [SIZE=5]NO!!! On the homefront, six Tennessee lawmakers were arrested today for accepting bribes in a sting. I think more arrested are expected. Most were state senators. This one crossed party lines. We were upstaged by Texas though. Dang. Our corruption never makes the news anymore.
Question: In the Senate, the Republicans say the Democrats are filibustering the UN nomination since they didn’t vote cloture and the Democrats say they are not. Since there was a Republican speaking about another matter after the vote, how can the Democrats be filibustering?
