Unfortunately, since you’re a ‘guest’, your location isn’t listed. Do you live close enough to WV that I could come nibble on his tiny toes? Baby toes are the bestest!
He is gorgeous! Congratulations!

He is gorgeous! Congratulations!
Congratulations to the Neeps family—He is a cutie for sure!!!
He’s beautiful! Congrats!
Well, we live in Scotland, so it looks like you are out of luck with the toe nibbling! I will duly have a munch and tell him that it’s from is Aunt Norine!
Thanks for all the congratulations, everyone. It’s lovely to be finally able to share him with everyone - it’s been an almost 4 year journey to get to this point, and I really can’t believe we finally have an actual baby in our house. When does the novelty wear off?
Of course, at the moment, it feels a bit like a relentless slog, but everyone assures me that it does get better, right around the time they give you their first smile…
Congrats! He’s just scrumptious looking (I think like us, you got your money’s worth ;)), hope you’re enjoying being a mum as much as I am!
Please do!
I’m not sure the novelty ever wears off, because just as you’re becoming accustomed enough to one stage to be nearly bored by it, they change!
The first smile is wonderful. Even better, IMHO, is the first kiss they give you! Often, it’s just the baby planting his open mouth sloppily on your cheek, but at that point, you know they understand that kissing means “I like this person a whole bunch!” and that’s wonderful.
And the first time they say “Mum”.
Congratulations! He’s adorable! I’m glad everything went well.
(In the middle of my own relentless slog. There really are a lot of babies around here right now.)
Congratulations! What a lovely healthy baby! rest up lady and PM me anytime
I am so happy for you and your new son Sam. He is beautiful and glad you are both healthy!
Take the time to just hold him while he sleeps. Sometime that just makes everything better.
Congratulations, that’s a real cutie you got there.
Not to mention the very first time they throw their arms around you, and tell you, with all sincerity, that you are ‘the very best Mommy in the world!’
My 10YO mudgirl is starting to hit puberty, but she still tells me, pretty regularly, that I’m the best Mom! I tell her she’s the very best mudgirl.
Or says something awesome like, “The language of muffins”, or “Worms have nipples.”
Holding them while they sleep makes everything better.
