After 7 years of living with four wheels firmly planted on the road, I am once again liberated. I just got back from picking up a 2003 HD Heritage Softtail Classic in Kansas. I am in HOG heaven right now. The only bad thing is it is lightly raining and we are due for snow this afternoon, so I probably won’t be riding this evening. We need the moisture so I won’t complain (loudly). Now we need to find some reliable baby-sitting so momma and I can go on rides again. Wanders off signing: I’m back in the saddle again…
All right! Congrats, even if it IS a Harley.
Can’t wait to pick up my bike from its winter hybernation cave (read: my sister’s shed :D). I’ll be on holiday for a week, but I’m picking it up on April 5!
Get yer motor runnin’…
I missed that thread Jonny L.A.. That really sucks. I hope your able to get up and running soon.
Coldfire, is that when good riding weather starts there?
I’m don’t feel like working at all today. I want to get down to Motor Vehicle, get my tags and as Bob Seger put it: “Get out of Denver baby GO!”
Actually, it’s been riding weather for 3 weekends in a row now. I just decided to pick up the bike after my holiday, which is next week.
Johnny, quit looking at my sister, you perve.
I am fighting the urge to go out and buy a motorcycle.
It’s a little easier to do now that I’m laid off.
I had a Kawasaki 440 back in the early 80’s. I loved riding that bike. I’d pack all my camping stuff on the back of it and take off for a week in the mountains.
Sn-man and Coldfire, do a little riding for me.
And you guys be careful out there. Lots of folks in cars that don’t always pay the attention to motorcycles that they should.
But you know that! Have fun!
Been riding weather here for a while. Nice thing about where I live is, you can ride you motorcycle to the ski resort, ski all day, then ride back home! I havent been bothered to rig up a ski rack however.
