When someone hears from her, please let the rest of us know. I’m thinking all the stress can’t be good for her.

DZ stopped posting soon after the move. He had a bunch of stuff happening and he hated the new platform.

This just in
I’m so overwhelmed right now. I just can’t think. My Son has had a scary proceedure done. He came through the surgery and will be fine. It’s gonna be a long recovery period. He is, of course sad we can’t see him very much. They won’t even let me in the parking garage. I see him on a screen. His wife and Mr Wrekker get in for about 20 min. each a day.
I told her to not worry, keep taking care of things there and that I’d check with her in a few days
On that note, we need to do something for her, I just don’t know what or how. But her and her family are an integral part of this community as much as any of the past greats were.
Any ideas?

No ideas, but I keep my thinking cap charged and turned on.
Would you have a chance perhaps just once a day to send her a quick text that we’re all thinking of her and she and her family are not ‘out of sight and out of mind’?

Since we can’t bring over dinner ourselves, and since they live well outside of where any carryout place would deliver, maybe we can arrange to have something shipped to the house from one of the companies that does frozen overnight deliveries? (Assuming that DorkVader has, or can get, Beck’s actual address.)
I can do that Boo, maybe not once a day though, she has enough going on right now, I want to let her have a little space to focus on her family.
Here is what I’ll do, everyone either post here or pm me message for her and I’ll copy paste them to her all at once on Thursday evening.
I understand we’re all concerned and fretful over her, but I’m also sensitive to her situation right now, having witnessed something similar with my parents in the past. I don’t want to be too intrusive but I do want to do something that will let her know that we’re thinking about and worried about her and her family
Thats why I wish someone other than Beck had a direct line to Dropzone, as far as I know, he’s the only one who actually knows her address.
I’ll see if I can tease something out somehow…

Okay, sometimes these things are easy, and sometimes they are downright impossible. This fell somewhere between those extremes, but was still challenging. I’m proud of parts of this; others I think are a little banal. But I thought I’d post it here for critique and comments, before Dork sends it off to Beck. If he does at all–if we all agree that it sucks, it shouldn’t be sent, right? So let’s get your feedback.
