EEG stands for electroencephalogram. That’s when electrodes are slapped all over your head and your brain waves are mapped.
Think of it like an EKG for the brain.
For en EKG, the electrodes are attached to little pads that stick to your body. For an EEG, the electrodes are little needles poked just under the skin of your scalp. Surprisingly, that really doesn’t hurt.
However, for needle-phobics, they can use little suction cups with a dab of conductive gel. That leaves a gawd-awful mess.
Poor ol’ Beck probably has permanent electrodes embedded in her scalp. And for all her testing, the tracing pens probably draw corndogs from Sonic.
