Yay on the imminent trip home, Beck!
I am hot. Well, in heroin addict corpse sorta way.
I did get my hair washed today, so there’s that.![]()
Padding and safety helmet. Pad the rooms of the house as needed. (The cats will probably like that.)
Maybe JoJo will become a seizure warning cat? Watch all the creatures for unusual behavior, in case one of them can do that.
Here’s hope!
BTW, my bedroom is moved downstairs. Mid-dau said the Siamese have moved in. The dogs may be another problem. I know Bayliss will wanna be where I am.
@Gatopescado told him too.
Least Bullshit Statement You Have Ever Made In Your Tenure On This Message Board.
Yeah, it was 105’ in Arkansas today.
Hush up and feed the girl some ice tea, the not-sweet kind.
I must be missing something. There is iced tea that is not sweet? Is that like some northern idea of a drink. In Arkansas, all tea is sweet.
Except for those people who are diabetics.
Yup.
Why people want to drink sugar syrup when they’re hot I do not understand. (Yes, I accept that people want to, and do, and are entitled to drink Southern sweet tea. I just don’t understand it.)
She drinks tea from Sonic, which, if it is like everything else on the menu of this establishment, I would assume has a very high dose of salt in it.
No salt. No sugar. Just dirty water.
I mostly like the ice. Winter or summer.
The dentist told me not to chew it.
So I quit that.
I actually dream of chewing Sonic ice.
It’s Perfect weather to eat **slices of ice cold cantaloupe. That cools me off quicker than a cold drink. My family’s gardens always had a few vines planted.
Glad your home Beck with the critters. ![]()
**we don’t actually slice cantaloupe. Cut in half, remove seeds, and eat from the shell.
I love melons, of any kind.![]()
Very little of I can eat.
I have to have a bite or two, though.
You’re right, they are cooling.
Glad to see this thread getting bumped for good news.
Seems to be the right solution. Staying off stairs, unless supervised by a responsible adult, is probably also a good idea.
I have moved downstairs.
I’m in the ghost room (wanna come to my sleepover?)I was worried about dogs in here. All the pets sleep in with me.
No one on my bed.
The Siamese sleep on the headboard.
The dogs have beds on the floor.
Bayliss has had to come out of the closet.
I’m supporting him in all ways.
I love him unconditionally, so that helps.
its amazing how good something that simple feels!! When I had my wrist surgery a few years back, the surgeon seemed to think I was going to go a month without a shower (he acted like he’d never heard of cast covers). It was 2 few weeks before I was willing to risk the jostling anyway - so after about a week I had my son drive me to a nearby salon, where I walked in and said “I just need a shampoo. No cut or anything. Just a shampoo”.
I practically cried when the lady was scrubbing my scalp.
Quit injuring yourself now, you hear me!!
At that house???

mr beck im still trying to understand what happened to me it will be a year july 29. i walked into an ER under my own steam and came to my senses (sorta) about 5 weeks later.
some of the things i recall was knowing i was in a hospital and knowing something was very very wrong and i tried to figure out what, and i could not figure it out.
another thing was i really thought the staff was out to get me. seriously i somehow concluded they were doing something to me because they were getting payoffs and that they soon were going to actually murder me for reasons of their own? im told this kind ofbthing is common, can you relate at all?
another one was thinking it was a military hospital treating me.
i also felt that they were moving me around to different units different floors alot when in actuality they were not.
i thought “the thai people” had kidnapped me, it persisted for days.
as they tried to bring me out of this induced coma, i still thought these crazy, batshyt crazy things.
have you experienced any ptsd from your coma? i have a nasty case of medical trauma still affecting me daily.
anyhow i did not mean to write a book, you are the only person i have crossed paths with that also had a coma…
any reply you care to make will be helpful and apppreciated thanks
