The entire “Just Shoot Me” episode with David Cross as the “retarded” brother of Eliot was a great moment in a terrible show.

I also second the Friends joke re: tailoring pants…in PRISON!! That’s my favorite joke from the show.

The best part about that episode is when Jackie comes in the next morning and starts talking about her date the previous night, while starting to toast some waffles and use the blender (?). Everyone in the kitchen is staring at her just waiting for her to “get it”. As she’s pressing the buttons, she said, “I think this is broken” and Roseanne says, “Well at least now we know the speed of stupid!”.

Gilligan’s Island - They find a silent movie camera and decide to film themselves and send out the movie on a raft in hopes of getting rescued.

Professor: “While filming this movie, we encountered some technical difficulties.”

Gilligan: “He means me.”

Home Improvement - Tim and his friend are talking about relationships.

Tim’s friend: “Tim, when did you know that Jill was the one?”

Tim: “When she told me.”

Probably the only joke on Friends that really made me laugh:

Joey and Chandler somehow lose a baby they’re taking care of. They go to the lost and found, and find that two babies have been turned in, but they don’t remember what their baby looks like. One of the babies is wearing PJs with clowns on them, the other is wearing PJs with ducks. They decide to flip a coin, but must decide which side means what, which leads to:

Joey: Heads’ll be ducks because ducks… have heads.

Chandler: [pause] What kind of screwed-up clowns came to your birthday parties?

I am such a geek, but Chandler replies: “What kind of scary-ass clowns came to your birthday?”

Which makes it a lot funnier

Another fine Just Shoot Me one had Andy Dick starring as a hand model complaining about the lack of work: I just don’t seem to get as many hand jobs here as I did in San Francisco.

Aww, Just Shoot Me had some other great episodes, too, enough to move it out of the bad sitcom list. Some of my favorites are the one with French Stewart as a TV puppeteer dating Maya, with Gina Giraffe and Mr Mayor - “Mr. Mayor likes it rough!” Same episode also had the guys crying over Brian’s Song, with alot of good lines. Also the episode where Jack and Elliot discover Finch has a huge penis. “It’s a tale as old as time - great product; lousy sales department.”

Actually, I’d be inclined to say that Just Shoot Me was a show that went downhill really badly after two or three funny seasons, rather than a show that was just plain bad from the beginning

“In his whole life, my dad has only been with one woman. Nina’s been with five!”
