Baker's Dozen II (Part 1)

Things I won’t be doing in the big city when I visit this weekend because of COVID

  1. Attending a MLB baseball game
  2. Shopping in a crowded department store
  3. Citywide garage sale-ing
  4. Getting a haircut
  5. Dining in a restaurant
  6. Going to a big outdoor music festival
  7. Smooching strangers on the subway
  8. Getting a drink at a local bar
  9. Leading a marching band
  10. Singing along with the cathedral choir
  11. Taking some comfort from the whores on Seventh Avenue
  12. Going to a nightclub
  13. Protesting against the anonymity of big city living by wearing a mask in public

Sure I’ll wear a mask. But nobody will get the symbolic meaning.

Pass.
