Like Tommy John surgery, but on the lateral elbow ligament, not the ulnar. Rehab took many months; I don’t know how MLB pitchers can play again just months after the procedure.

Doc found a precancerous node in there and removed it but then I wouldn’t stop bleeding. They pulled me out and put me in recovery then put me back into the room to try to close up the wound again. Meanwhile I was loopy from being doped up and didn’t know what was going on and my wife was out in the waiting room freaking out because they wouldn’t tell her what was happening. My colon is much better now.
