Baltimore / DC bachelor party locations

Hey everyone! I’ve got the enviable task of selecting a club for my friend’s bachelor party this weekend. I have to head out and do some ahem field research, but I don’t want to waste my time with clubs that are complete ripoffs. We’re limited to the Baltimore / DC area, but I understand that Baltimore has quite a selection. I’m trying to narrow the field down to two or three places. I’ve been to the Hustler Club once or twice, and found it pleasant enough, but the $25 lap dances are pretty expensive. I hear Scores and the Ritz Cabaret are both nice, and Gentlemen’s Gold always ends up second or third on every list I’ve found. Any clue why? Should I widen my search?

I’ve contacted management at all the above clubs to find out about party packages and deals, but I’m interested in your (humble or not) opinion. Compare and contrast if you can; spill the beans about dance prices, lines of sight, variety of girls, and atmosphere. Especially let me know if I’m leaving a club out! For what it’s worth, the groom is not terribly interested in silicone or bleached blondes, and if we wanted the hard-sell, we’d get him a used car for a wedding gift.

It really depends whether you’re looking for a nice classy place or a wild skanky time.

Either way, Baltimore’s your best bet.

Um, I’ll take “nice classy place” for 100, Alex. Leave the needle tracks, upper arm bruises, and clearly-pregnant dancers at home, please. :eek:

A lady chiming in -

Gentleman’s Gold tends to be where the girls at my gym go for ladies nights to check out the professionals (I go to a pole-dancing gym), so I assume that’s where the more skilled dancers are if you truly want a show. If you just want to see ladies get nekkid, any place will do.

(Then again, I’ve never actually been to any of these clubs, so listen to those who have actually been.)

There’s “Fantasies” too. . .classic Baltimore Bachelor Party destination.

Hustler is best at keeping out the riff-raff but that’s because it has a $15 cover and it is a pricey night.

I haven’t been to either in years, and I’ve never been to the Ritz.

At least with Hustler, you can hit the skanksville joints if you want. They’re on the same block.

Some friends and I just did a Hustler club then the Block impromptu bachelor party a few months ago. Hustler club was ok (nice looking women but way, way expensive). We ended up buying a “bottle” which consisted of a $100 bottle of absolute with chasers and some fun for the groom (a lap dance, they got him up on stage and had the dancers abuse him). I ended up spending a hundred plus in that place. After we were nice and drunk we hit every single strip “club” on the Block. Those places are scary. 5 to 10 men sitting around, watching an ugly, overweight dancer, drinking $6 cans of bud light.

You’re right Enginerd, The Block. . .a wretched hive of scum and villainy. Man, that’s the kind of shit I used to do in my single 20’s that I don’t miss at all.
