OK, I get that they come up with a crazy name to get attention and sell records but I have to ask, dont they have mothers, fathers, and grandparents whom they also have to answer to? Not to mention many of them are or will become parents.
I mean dont they have this voice in the back of their head saying “how are you going to explain this at Thanksgiving?”.
So cant they come up with a cool, edgy name that also doesnt make you cringe if you say it to your grandmother? Ex. Rush, Genesis, Creedance Clearwater Revival, Journey, AC/DC, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Grateful Dead, Chicago, Scorpions, Rush…
I’m pretty sure that Rockbitch wasn’t a GG Allin tribute band. For one thing, they were all female. And British (or, at least, mostly British).
My brother formed a band once just to make it, like yours did. His was named Twatslayer. I told him their first album should be called Spermicidal Lollipop.
