How disappointing that it’s Barbara Walters. She really is someone who should be considering retirement.
I will watch “The View” on occasion and she really has become quite doddering and confused. She stumbles on her words, forgets what she was saying, and rarely makes a relevant point these days.
Still, I’ll record it to see what they have to say. Thanks for the head up.
He’s smart to keep himself in the public eye, via the 60 Minutes interview and this one. It reassures people who don’t follow political sites or press conferences that he’s around, he’s working, but he’s not president yet, and has no power, yet. But he cares, he’s on top of the situation, and he’s on his way. Plus many people still need to get to know him as a human being to confirm their vote was the correct one, or to reassure them that he’s got their back too, even if they voted for McCain.

I think Michelle Obama is pregnant. Around 10:29 into the show, for all you TiVoers, when she gets ready to sit down with Barack, you can see a very noticable bump, if you will. Also, note how gingerly she sits down.

In theory you can watch it at A Barbara Walters Special: Barack and Michelle Obama - ABC News, but it keeps asking me to install an ABC-branded plugin. I’ve given it permission about 16 times now.
It’s not available yet. The link takes you to their online TV shows, but I could not find the Walters special.
Really? I got a page that says ‘CLICK HERE TO WATCH “A BARBARA WALTERS SPECIAL: BARACK AND MICHELLE OBAMA” IN ABC’S FULL EPISODE PLAYER"’. And it works now. I think I just had to restart my computer in order for the installation to finish, although it didn’t tell me that.
