Barista refuses to remake my drink or add more milk to it

Well, in all fairness. . .

Could you once again try to explain why the milk on the counter wouldn’t suffice?

So do you think its true?

It’s just you.

I just grabbed a quick latte from Starbucks and they offered me the extra milk that they refused to give you.

I think they like me better.

Maybe it isn’t everyone else?

That they don’t like you? Well, if your attitude here is similar to your attitude in the store, and I were the manager, I’d be explaining to you that we don’t want your business.

And, yes, they can do that. As long as its because they don’t like you and not because you are a protected class.

I think Penny said it best: “don’t piss-off the people who handle your food”.

jashley, do people often conspire against you?

They should have just been honest with you. They were giving you a hard time because you’re a lesbian and they don’t approve of your lifestyle. Take it to Facebook.

This. People love to bitch to their friends and neighbors, but precious few actually give the business adequate chance to satisfy them. Case in point, the OP was denied satisfaction by the front-line employee, but didn’t bother to contact a manager or complain online. Instead, he/she/it came here to bitch to all of us.

I’ve had good results complaining to Wendy’s online after receiving severely aged food during a late-night visit to the drive-thru, and also in complaining to Chipotle’s online website after our local branch developed a pattern of not keeping enough ingredients ready, resulting in long waits when they ran out of something. Both complaints resulted in coupons for free food that was in excess of the value of whatever my initial complaint was.

On the other hand…

You’ve provided precious little detail regarding the events that led up to this imperative, but as you look back on the incident, is it possible, conceivable, that just maybe there was something about your own conduct that contributed to the crappy outcome? Is there anything you could do differently in the future that might make the barista more amenable to fulfilling your request?

OK, so what do you plan to do about it? Continue bitching to a bunch of snickering strangers on the internet? How will that help?

Forget about those chumps. People who work at starbucks are snooty bitches. I had a friend who tried to work there but she didn’t pass the “Be a snooty bitch” to her first 100 customers so they fired her.

This is in the wrong forum, as it truly fulfills all the criteria of MPSIMS.

Sometimes when I get Italian wedding soup at the hospital cafeteria they give me four or five meatballs, but some servers give me only two. Why are the meatball deniers discriminating against me?*

I’m afraid to ask for details.

*once when this happened I commented on it and they gave me three more meatballs. I was all in a glow the rest of the day.

OMG, kayaker I knew that username looked familiar! jashley: uniting the Internet to disagree with her completely since 2013.

Once again she’s all over message boards asking the identical question, just google the exact question.

Agreed. I’ve never had any problem getting satisfaction from a large chain that intends to stay in business. And if you’re reasonable, and accept the fact that a server just might be having a bad day, your complaint is actually welcomed, since they want feedback, and don’t have resources to monitor every sale in every store. They don’t want one bad incident, to keep you from visiting one of their other stores.

Of course, with local restaurants or stores, not part of chains, a complaint is not always met with such receptiveness. Some owner/proprieters just don’t want to hear it. Buh-bye to my patronage.

:dubious:

I’ll take “mentally ill” for $200, Alex.

So why would they short me on the amount I paid for for my drink? It would be better for them to just say they don’t want my business, because at least that way they wouldn’t keep ripping me off and stealing from me. Your supposed to make the same drink the same way for all customers that ask for that drink. If someone else orders the same drink as me they should get it the same way and not more or less. If not, they are singling customers out based on who they like or dislike and not what they paid for. I’m pretty sure messi g with someones drink because you think they look funny or something is not ok.

You inspect everyone’s drink?.. What’s wrong with you?

I am not a lesbian, I am short and ugly and mentally disabled.

Yes, especially if they can make money doing so.
