Just wanted point out that Baseball Prospectus is having a free preview through August 3rd. It’s a site with lots of stats-heavy (very heavy) analysis of MLB. I don’t plan on paying the subscription fee, but it’s nice to be able to check out the premium content (only a small portion of the articles are regularly available to non-subscribers) for a few days.

Worth a look.

I’ll second that. I’m a paying member, and have been for a couple of years. I love the annual book, and having year-round content updates is great.

The analysis that they offer is excellent. Anyone interested in baseball would benefit from a look at BP.
