Normally with this quick a change of heart, I’d say it was planned somehow, but I can’t possibly see any positive marketing spin for it.
Now if we can only convince them to scrap inter-league play altogether…

Just a gimmick. Until both leagues follow the same rules, the only difference is that the A.L has the D.H. rule.
