Baseball/Geographic driving playlist recommendations please!

I’m putting together a playlist for my annual Baseball Trip.
Looking for songs that have something to do with baseball (I’ve been doing this for a bunch of years, and it’s tough to find good ones I haven’t used yet), travel and driving in general (same), or specific destinations, which this year include:
Atlanta GA, Montgomery AL, Pensacola FL, Moblile AL, Biloxi MS, New Orleans LA, Jackson MS, and Birmingham AL.

All genres are welcome. GO!

Songs That Involved Baseball in SOME Way:

Chuck Berry: “Brown Eyed Handsome Man”
Eddie Vedder: “All the Way”
Billy Joel: “Zanzibar”
Alabama: “Cheap Seats”
Warren Zevon: “Bill Lee”
Frank Sinatra: “There Used to Be a Ballpark”

“Centerfield” - John Fogerty.
“City of New Orleans” - Arlo Guthrie.

For the return trip: “Six Days on the Road” - Dave Dudley.

Edit timed out.

“Wheels” - The Flying Burrito Brothers.

For purely geographic:
[ul]
[li]Sweet Home, Alabama - Lynyrd Skynyrd[/li][li]Stars Fell on Alabama - Jimmy Buffett[/li][li]Fat Sam from Birmingham - Louis Jordan[/li][li]Birmingham Breakdown - Duke Ellington[/li][li]Alabama Song - The Doors[/li][li]Alabama Getaway - The Grateful Dead[/li][li]Southern Man - Neil Young[/li][li]Angel from Montgomery - John Prine or Bonnie Raitt[/li][li]Stuck inside of Mobile with the Memphis Blues Again - Bob Dylan[/li][li]Mobile - Randy Newman[/li][li]Mississippi Queen - Mountain[/li][li]Biloxi - Jimmy Buffett[/li][/ul]

Baseball

Meat Loaf - “Paradise by the Dashboard Light”

Some great suggestions so far - including a lot I’ve already burned, but I don’t want to discourage any ideas. Keep 'em coming!

How have I never heard this before? I sure wish I’d had it for last year’s Chicago trip.

Sister Wynona Carr - Life Is A Ballgame
Count Basie - Did You See Jackie Robinson Hit That Ball?
The Treniers (featuring Willie Mays) - Say Hey (The Willie Mays Song)

I’m jealous of your trip (especially the New Orleans part).

"A Dying Cub Fan’s Last Request,’ by Steve Goodman. (Writer of the aforementioned “City of New Orleans.” I know Guthrie’s version is pretty much canonical, but I love Steve’s. Oh, and he also wrote “Go Cubs, Go,” but, as a long-suffering Cub fan, ADCFLR was my anthem until last year.)

Both of these were on last year’s Chicago playlist!

Oh, by the way, songs about beer and drinking are also welcome.

"Tinker to Evers to Chance by the Carolyn Sills Combo.

Maybe a little “Talkin’ Softball” from the Simpsons?

Beer and drinking, I like these three from George Thorogood:

One Bourbon, One Scotch, and One Beer
If You Don’t Start Drinking (I’m Gonna Leave)
I Drink Alone

Birmingham Blues, Electric Light Orchestra. Also about being on the road, so a double-dip, even if the Birmingham in question is in England, not Alabama.

For more geographic references:

Easy Rider (Charlie Daniels)
Alabama Rain (Jim Croce)
New Orleans Ladies (Louisiana LeRoux)
House of the Rising Sun (many versions, I prefer The Animals version)

I’m pretty sure that is an adaption of Terry Cashman’s “Talkin’ Baseball.” I think Cashman has a bunch of baseball related songs, but I’d be surprised if the OP was unaware of that.

Which reminded me of:
Lady Marmalade (LaBelle)

The score from “Damn Yankees”, especially:

Six Months out of Every Year
The Game
Shoeless Joe from Hannibal, Mo.

You know, I’ve heard the original before but I totally had forgotten about it, with that Simpsons episode being such a classic.

When the original was popular in the early 1980s, Cashman recorded versions of the song for at least some MLB teams; I had a 45 of a Brewers version.
